SYNOPSIS
Amelia observes the enduring bond between her mother, a caregiver, and her mother’s dear friend, a beloved jazz singer. As memories drift in and out of reach, musical fragments — prompted by archival footage and artifacts of friendship — serve as transmissions, vessels of shared history. Framed as a kind of “EP,” each track becomes an abstract chapter in a friendship shaped by decades of change, creative evolution, and care. Through Amelia’s witnessing, the film reflects on how memory and identity are sustained relationally, offering a gentle tribute to music as a carrier of lived experience, to friendship as an act of preservation, and to life itself as an ongoing, collaborative creative practice.
